Toby Bennett is a dancer and dance teacher specialising in English step dancing particularly the rich traditions of English Step Clog.

He has performed and taught widely in the UK and abroad performing solo as well as with the four piece band Stepling and the trio Francis | Bennett | Hartley. More recently he has performed with Lewis Wood’s ‘Footwork Live’ show.

Toby recorded several tracks for Lewis Wood’s 2022 album ‘Footwork’ (available via Bandcamp) and danced witth Simon Harmer on the Footwork Live tour.

Toby is also a member of the new band ‘Stepling’ exploring English traditions of music, step dance and percussion with fiddle player Deb Chalmers, percussionist Jo May and guitarist Adrian Lever.
